The rest of the buffet was not even ok. I would say it was the worst buffet I have ever seen—not much selection, dried out food, powdered creamer for coffee, Date of experience: November Becky W wrote a review Nov Albuquerque, New Mexico 22 contributions 3 helpful votes. Clean, large rooms. Enjoyed our overnight stay. Our king room on the top floor was spacious and clean.
Super LG large screen TV, and huge bathroom too. Happy hour at the sports bar was fun, and the teriyaki wings were awesome! Hampshire, England 54 contributions 62 helpful votes. Awful - Avoid at all costs. Picked Twin Arrows from a map search as we were on a road trip encompassing Meteor Crater then on to the Grand Canyon so location was key.
We arrived at pm for a 3pm check-in to be told one of our 2 rooms would not be ready for 45 minutes. So we all went to 1 room, with luggage, to wait. Who would have thought someone else with our surname may be staying in the same Hotel that night?!! So we left that room and went back downstairs to be told both our rooms would be ready at 4pm!!!
No offer of a free drink while we wait or anything like that. Eventually we made it to our rooms, no issues there - they were very comfortable. At I received a call from the check-in asking us to please remove our belongings from the first room we had been in!! I knew we had everything but played along and went down to reception again - Only to be told housekeeping had made a mistake!!
What a surprise! I will admit we had a nice meal in the Steak restaurant however, when we came to charge the meal to our room the transaction was rejected, twice. Apparently my Amex card was still linked to the incorrect room number! When I raised the matter with reception they were oblivious to the fact that the actual occupants of that room could have charged anything to MY card.
I asked how long the hotel had been open - to which the reply was quite recent, and still having teething problems! I totally agree!! Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise interim CEO issued a warning the tribe may be forced to permanently close its casinos by the end of January. Quincy Natay, Chairman of the Navajo Gaming Board, fears the prolonged shutdowns will force permanent casino closures as early as the end of January unless they can reopen safely with reduced capacity or receive financial assistance.
