Full hookup except for sewer but they had a dump station if needed. Back-in site but had area to park the tow car beside the RV. Near truck parking but once inside the RV didn't notice. Friendly staff, casino comped the first night and also comped our night on the trip back home to TN. Filled up next morning at the Truck Stop located on the grounds, cheapest place in the area for fuel. Great Buffet and other restaurants in the casino.
Great stop, highly recommend. Tip for Other Campers: Great casino, several restaurants, very clean and organized. Friendly, helpful staff. No reservations though, first come first serve but we didn't have a problem either night getting a space. First night supposed to be free.
We were charged both nights. Not a pull thru. Good hookups. This campground is a classic example of mismanagement by an Indian casino. It has amp hookups and water but no sewer dumps. It is on the north side of the Grand Casino parking lot and next to a truck stop and overnight parking for wheelers who run their engines all night long. When the park was first opened it was free to anyone who had a casino players card and played a small amount per day, which they never checked. A group of old beat up RVs and degenerate people began squatting since there was no monitoring.
Now no one stays there due to the price and you have to gamble a huge amount of money to get the points required for a free stay. What a waste and it didn't have to be that way. We're on our way east and were planning on stopping at a Walmart overnight when we saw this casino and decided to give it a try. The shock must have been obvious on her face Nice location, not many campers here, level sites and big rig friendly.
Water and electric only, but dump station available. The RV parking is right behind truck parking, so it is loud with all the engines running. Lots of dog doo round, so watch where you step! Still, better than most Walmarts we've been in. Great price on Diesel.
Have stayed at this park times. Since I have a players card for the Casino it was free. I don't mind paying for a site, but this was very high for what you get. Needless to say, I will not be stopping here again. I got a club card and went to check in. It doesn't matter if you have a club card. Seems like their policies changed in the past couple of months. We left and went down the road to a Walmart instead.
We used to stay here when visiting family. The mail hotel desk clerk where you have to get your parking pass told me if I had a casino player card that I may have enough points to get my stay for free. I asked him how many points I needed and he told me he didn't know, I'd just have to play and then they would check and let me know. We'll only be staying 1 night and will find something more reasonable next time. I suppose if you're a big gambler this may be for you, otherwise I would go somewhere else.
This park is for access to the casino with no real amenities. It is what it is. There is water and electric, with a dump station. It will accommodate big rigs. The gravel sites are level but very close to each other. It is a parking area not camping area. The casino shuttles are convenient as they drive by often. It can be noisy, as there is construction of a hotel going on and many semi trucks that park in front of the RV parking.
If you have a player's card, you can stay free for 3 nights. Rate is based on having one. It's free if you have a players club card. We have stayed here a few times and it's an OK deal because it's free with water and 50 amp electric. Spaces are limited because the place is popular. The RV area is right behind the trucker area so the semis are running but the noise is tolerable.
We would stay here again. The casino is nice. We came here because of one of the reviews. It was OK. We only hooked up to the electric. Of course the RV's are close together, and it is not really a place to sit outside, unless you sit by the little creek that runs behind the RV sites.
A little bus drives around and will give you a lift to the casino. The truck parking lot was full, but it didn't bother us as we had the air conditioner on. Can't beat the price. We would stay there again. For FREE, it's a hard place to beat Some of the Semi's that parked just in front of the RV area ran their diesel powered refrigeration units that keep their refrigerated trailers cold all night so it was a bit noisy. And they have a full Truck stop set up with Diesel priced a lot lower then any of the majors like Flying J or Pilot.
With their players card they give you an additional 3 cents per gallon of the listed diesel price. Luckily someone was leaving and we took their space instead. The hook-ups are every third space. The site is level, but very dusty. There is a dump station and it's very loud with semis and RVs coming and going all night. We would stay here again if we were trying to save money.
Was very impressed with the RV park. Easy access and I loved the little stream that ran behind us. I will definitely return to use your campground again! Excellent overnight stop. Post covid, the casino is good, rooms are very nice and clean, games are ok, I prefer games with bonuses and something to do while I whittle away my paycheck. As another reviwer stated, there was no mask enforcement on the floor but I didn't see more than a handful of people without them. The front desk folks were awesome, incredibly courteous and nice to everyone that approached. Even the security was cool. So I filed it to keep it as another mini get-away and I didn't plan to review It was so dark in the toilet that I thought someone in my family got really sick, then opened the tank when it got worse after flushing it.
It was worse than the water from deployment, and that's really saying something. At least there the military gave us free bottled water to shower, cook, and brush our teeth with. We got up, changed and left without eating Supposedly the pumps were being changed over, and forgivable IF there weren't already several reviews here over the years stating the same thing.
I took videos and pictures of both the back of the toilet sludge tank, I will spare the bowl since it looks like dinner backfired, but I also have filling the sink to create a sediment pond, which may be harder to see because I had already tried running the water already for about 10 minutes before the picture and it was still coming out cloudy. The toilet was the worst: normally you should be able to see to the bottom of the tank. The shower changed the color of the washcloth to reddish brown.
They really need to hire a consultant to figure this out or at least install filters on their mains, because I'd like to go back. This shows you can have a great locale, good entertainment, great customer service folks at the desk were amazing! Check the reviews before you book! Most patrons had masks on, and hand sanitizer was readily available. Lots of countryside, farm animals and crops to look at instead of all freeway. Date of stay: May Trip type: Traveled solo. Helpful Share. We do our best to make sure all of our guests have an amazing experience and it sounds like we nailed it with you.
We have taken many precautionary measures through this pandemic. We are appreciative that our guests are noticing how much effort we are putting in. I will make sure to pass your kind words on to the rest of our staff.
Thanks again and we look forward to your return! Dan G wrote a review May Wichita, Kansas 1 contribution. My wife and I decided to go to the Grand on Memorial Day weekend. We checked the new opening rules and decided that it should be ok. Upon arrival we checked into our suite and then proceeded to head for the casino.
We knew that the wearing of masks and social distancing was the rule so we tried very hard to follow those rules but we were very, very disappointed when we observed people totally ignoring the rules. We saw people coming in,having their temperature checked and given a mask to wear if they didn't have their own. Time after time numerous people would take off their masks and discard them and then proceed to walk around the casino.
